Quetta: Leaders of the Awami National Party and revolutionary poet, Hazrat Ali Achakzai, along with the young social figure, Sheikh Ismail Khan, congratulated Haji Abdul Shakoor Khan Ghabizai on his election as a senator in the upper house. They said that Haji Abdul Shakoor Khan Achakzai’s election as a senator would have far-reaching and long-lasting positive effects on Balochistan’s politics. They stated that the selection of tribal and political figures like Abdul Shakoor Khan as senators would prove beneficial for the region.
They emphasized that peace, brotherhood, and development are direly needed in the area, and Abdul Shakoor Khan’s role is crucial in this regard. Sheikh Mohammad Ismail Khan expressed hope that Abdul Shakoor Khan Achakzai would continue to serve the people in education, health, peace, and security.
They thanked the leaders of the Awami National Party, including the provincial president, Asghar Khan Achakzai, General Secretary Maqbool Khan Kakar, Malik Naeem Khan Bazai, and Salma Kakar, who unconditionally supported Abdul Shakoor Khan Achakzai with their three votes, ensuring his success. They stated that the Awami National Party has proven that the ideology of Bacha Khan transcends biases, narrow-mindedness, and personal interests.
