LAHORE, (ASIA TODAY): Vice President Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), Maryam Nawaz said that the incompetency of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has led the country to the verge of destruction.
She alleged, “PTI came into power by hatching conspiracies and incapable to lead the country.”
Addressing a ceremony in connection with Youm-e-Takbeer (the day Pakistan conducted nuclear tests on May 28, 1998) in Lahore on Tuesday, Maryam Nawaz taking jibe at Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the country has been put on sale in the hands of IMF.
She said Pakistan was suffering from enormous problems despite being a nuclear power, adding that the country will face such conditions if inept and incompetent people will rule it.
She terming the sitting rulers as puppets said that you can’t be declared as true representatives of countrymen as you act on others directives and haven’t your own agenda.
The VP PML-N addressing the PM said that you are hiding behind institutions and as soon as Nawaz Sharif was out of jail, the PTI government would not last.
Maryam Nawaz said that the PTI leadership was focusing on targeting the Opposition and she urged them to pay attention on national issues and to resolve the problems of masses.
The PM repeatedly was saying that NRO will not be given to anyone but firstly he should tell who and when asked for NRO, she questioned.
She also took a swipe at Prime Minister Imran’s relations with India, saying that Indian premier Narendra Modi didn’t take Imran’s call in February when Pakistan and India engaged in aerial combat.
“This is the same Modi who came to Pakistan during Nawaz’s time. Why don’t people take your phone calls? Why do people not talk to you? Because you stole your way into power,” she said adding, “You are a puppet, you dance on someone’s instructions. That is why no country is willing to give you respect.”
